Annie was in Brisbane recently and she & her husband Andy went out of their way to travel by bus from the city to Chapel Hill to visit Vanity Fairways.
As always we chatted and after 2 visits in 2 days (and lots of shopping) Annie invited me to play with her at Concorde anytime I was in Sydney. As luck had it I was in
Sydney with a “free” day and Annie could get me into their competition field on Friday 2nd December. Concorde is one of the oldest courses in Australia (102years old)
it is a private course so I was very privileged to be invited to play my only regret was that I didn’t play very well at all ! The ladies made me very welcome and next time
I am in Sydney I hope I get to play with Annie and Kathy again….only better next time ! |

You've probably noticed that we don't have a "shopping cart" on our website - the reason for this is that we carry ranges from the USA, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and Australia and the sizes vary tremendously from country to country and can be very confusing.....for example a US8 is about our AUS12 and a lot of our customers aren't happy about placing credit card details on the net. We'd much rather speak to you - find out your needs and size then discuss styles, colours and availability thus ensuring that we get it right the first time, avoid disappointment and unnecessary mucking around with returns and credits. We use Express Post satchels so in most cases you can be wearing your new golf gear within the week! A small bag is $10 & a larger bag is $15. If the size you select or style isn't correct then it's a simple matter of returning it to us and we either do an exchange or if we can't find anything else you like then we process a credit for you on the goods returned.....it couldn't be simpler.
Over the last few months we have sent gear to ladies in Darwin, Newcastle, Adelaide, Macquarie Links, Hope Island, Tannum Sands, Kingaroy, Blackall, Middlemount, Gularganbone, Bribie Island, Sydney, Port Macquarie.

Sponsoring Competitions:
We know that it can be difficult at times for Ladies Comittees to find willing sponsors for your competitions. Vanity Fairways would love to be a sponsor . We would prefer either an Open or Guest Day when we can showcase our range to a wider cross section of ladies from different clubs and provided we don't already have a conflicting booking then we'll be there. We usually have a small parade using 3 or 4 of your "volunteer" ladies to model for us. Give us a call and we can discuss available dates .

Lots of our customers ask if that's me (Deborah)modelling in the photos on the website and fortunately for me I am usually the one on the other side of the camera but the photo opposite is me !
I was very pleased to have won the Eunice Coleman Memorial Rosebowl for 2011 at my home club - McLeod recently....so what's the point in having your own website if you can't brag occassionally ! |
Babes in the Woods - Golf Clinics:
Now into our 5th year our "Babes in the Woods" Clinics continue to be very popular both for absolute beginners as well as for our more advanced group who started as beginners in our early clinics! Many of our original "Babes"have gone on to join a golf club and now hold official AGU handicaps and we are very proud of the fact that it was Vanity Fairways & the "Babes in the Woods" clinics that changed these ladies lives forever by introducing them to te game we all know & love - GOLF !
